Employee Assistance Programmes
EAP Counselling Support
Professional, confidential counselling support for employees referred through Employee Assistance Programmes.
Counselling through Employee Assistance Programmes
I provide professional, confidential counselling through Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs), supporting adults who may be experiencing a range of emotional and psychological difficulties.
This may include anxiety, stress, low mood, burnout, workplace pressure, relationship difficulties, bereavement, confidence issues and other challenges that may be affecting an employee’s wellbeing.
My approach is warm, professional, and collaborative, with each person supported according to their individual circumstances, needs and goals.
I offer a flexible service, with face-to-face, online and telephone appointments available, including selected evening appointments and some weekend availability.
I understand the importance of providing a professional, reliable and responsive service to EAP providers and the organisations they support.
I work within appropriate professional and ethical standards, maintaining clear boundaries around confidentiality and providing employees with a safe and private space in which to access support.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). I am fully insured and hold current DBS clearance.
I welcome enquiries from EAP providers and organisations looking to develop or expand their network of counselling professionals.
Professional Experience
I am a BACP Registered Counsellor, a BABCP Member and a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP), with over 10 years’ experience supporting adults experiencing common mental health difficulties.
My clinical experience includes working within NHS Talking Therapies, providing evidence-based psychological interventions to adults experiencing difficulties such as anxiety, depression, stress and low mood.
Alongside my NHS experience, I have developed a broad understanding of the challenges that can affect emotional wellbeing, including life transitions, relationships, work-related pressures, loss, and significant changes in circumstances.
I bring together clinical knowledge, professional experience, and a warm, person-centred approach, creating a therapeutic space where people can feel heard, understood and supported. My practice is grounded in professional and ethical standards, with the therapeutic relationship and individual needs of each client at the heart of my work.
Confidentiality, Care and Support
I undertake regular clinical supervision and maintain appropriate professional indemnity and public liability insurance as part of my ongoing professional practice.
I provide a confidential, respectful, and non-judgemental therapeutic environment where employees can feel able to speak openly about the difficulties they are experiencing.
Sessions are individualised and focused on the agreed goals and therapeutic needs identified through the referral, while remaining responsive to the employee’s circumstances and progress throughout the work.

EAP counselling can be delivered in a way that works for the individual and the needs of the referral.
I offer face-to-face, online and telephone appointments, with daytime and selected evening appointments available, as well as some weekend availability.

EAP referrals and fees
EAP counselling is provided in accordance with the referral arrangements agreed with the EAP provider or organisation.
Fees and payment arrangements are agreed directly with the referring organisation and may differ from my standard private counselling fee.
I am happy to provide further information about my availability, referral process and fees to EAP providers on request.
Appointments and cancellations
Appointment and cancellation arrangements for EAP referrals are agreed in line with the requirements of the referring EAP provider or organisation.
I ask that employees provide as much notice as possible if they need to cancel or rearrange an appointment. Any non-attendance or late cancellation will be managed in accordance with the agreed EAP referral arrangements.
